Sansone Beach

Wonderful white beach that provides one of the most striking underwater views.

Beautiful beach with white pebbles and crystal clear waters, located between Portoferraio and Procchio. Suggestive both the Sorgente and Sansone beaches proper, separated by the small promontory with the stacks, famous for its very narrow inner cave, which can be crossed by diving. The shoreline is a mixture of white pebbles, sand and pebbles in the water. Parking is not easy, as the beach is among the busiest on the island.

How to get there

From Portoferraio take the provincial road to Enfola-Viticcio: the beach is about 5 km away. From the parking lot we descend along a path that offers wonderful views, a small road carved between the rock and the earth in which at times only one person can pass at a time. Time needed: about 10 minutes.
