During the three days on Elba, for example, the athletes will have the opportunity to explore areas such as the Capoliveri Mines (Europe's largest magnetite deposit) and the villages of Procchio (in the municipality of Marciana, on the central-northern coast, one of the island's most popular seaside resorts) and Patresi (along the enchanting Costa del Sole to the west, one of the most picturesque stretches of coastline).
