On Friday, July 10, at 9:30 p.m., the literary review "Autorə in Vantina" returns to turn on the spotlight at Capoliveri's Natural Amphitheater with an appointment of strong civic impact and very close topicality. The evening's guest will be journalist and data humanism expert Donata Columbro, who will bring to the stage her latest and crucial essay, "Why Counting Femicides is a Political Act."

Data as a tool for awareness and change

The Capoliveri festival, which transforms the famous piazzetta into an open-air theater thanks to the intimate monologue formula, opens tonight to a much-needed dialogue on collective responsibility in the face of gender-based violence.

Donata Columbro, who has always been committed to the dissemination and humanization of scientific and statistical data, will guide the audience through a profound reflection: how are feminicides in Italy counted, told and perceived? The talk will explore how data collection is never a neutral exercise, but a powerful political and social tool to make the invisible visible, deconstruct toxic media narratives and activate real cultural change.
