On Friday, July 3, at 9:30 p.m., the beautiful and intimate setting of Piazzetta La Vantina in Capoliveri will once again be transformed into an open-air literary salon. The first July event of the "Autorə in Vantina" review will host one of the most influential and followed figures on the Italian cultural and linguistic scene: sociolinguist and translator Vera Gheno, who will present her latest editorial work, "Nessunə è normale."
The strength of the "Autorə in Vantina" festival, which accompanies Capoliveri's summer from June to September, lies in its original formula focused on the value of deep listening. The natural amphitheater of the square is stripped of its classic interview structure: each guest, in fact, presents his or her work through an intimate and engaging monologue, transforming the urban space into a real theater under the stars.
In this context, Vera Gheno will lead the audience in a stimulating reflection on the power of language, the evolution of identities and the crucial importance of words in telling, respecting and understanding the wonderful complexity of human beings. An invitation to unhinge rigid concepts of "normality" to embrace the uniqueness of each person.
Location: La Vantina (Amphitheater) Square, located in the upper and characteristic part of the historic center of Capoliveri.
Time: Monologue begins at 9:30 pm. It is recommended to arrive slightly early to be seated on the amphitheater steps.
Admission: Free and free of charge.
Who it's for: Current affairs enthusiasts, students, lovers of sociology, linguistics, and anyone looking for a high cultural summer evening in a picturesque setting.
