On Friday, June 19, at 9:30 p.m., the literary review "Storie Itineranti in Piazza 2026" makes a stop at one of the most iconic, poetic and photographed places on the entire island of Elba. The ancient fishing village of Cotone, in Marciana Marina, will lend its characteristic architecture overlooking the sea to host the meeting with writer Pat Villa, who will present her volume with the strongly evocative title, "Much and Very Little."
The event is part of the busy calendar of "Storie Itineranti in Piazza," a widespread cultural project that runs through the municipalities of Marciana Marina, Marina di Campo and San Piero. The philosophy of the festival focuses on reading not as a solitary act, but as a shared experience, a true form of sociability and a common good to be cultivated and experienced together outdoors, reclaiming the beauty of the public and historic places of the area.
In the semi-darkness of the evening, caressed by the sea breeze and accompanied by the sound of the surf, Pat Villa's words will open an intimate dialogue with readers and readers, giving those present one of those evenings suspended in time that only Elban villages can offer.
Location: Il Cotone, Marciana Marina. The meeting will take place outdoors, in the small square or along the slipways of the old fishermen's quarter (located at the right end of the waterfront looking out to sea).
Time: Event starts at 9:30 pm.
Admission: Free and free of charge.
Who it's for: Lovers of good fiction, fans of independent cultural dynamics, tourists and residents looking for an atmospheric evening event in a unique setting.
