Talk to Me, a film directed by Danny and Michael Philippou, tells the story of a group of teenage friends who discover through viral videos spread online that using an ancient embalmed hand can summon the spirits of the dead.
Group meetings are organized where everyone can experience this macabre ritual. Mia(Sophie Wilde), on the anniversary of her mother's death, decides she wants to attend one of these meetings. The girl has to grasp the embalmed hand and with the phrase "talk to me," she makes contact with the dead man.
The game, however, has very strict rules to prevent some evil demons from staying forever in the world of the living and becoming a threat. Mia manages to meet her mother, but another participant breaks the rules, opening the door to the spirit world.
The group begins to be haunted by horrible visions. All the boys will find themselves caught up in a possession, which will lead them to question whether it is better to trust the living or the dead.
