Finally, the time has come for a unique Joelette trekking experience on theIsland of Elba!

On 26 and 27 April, we will set off together on an unforgettable adventure along a section of the Gran Traversata Elbana (GTE), immersing ourselves in the island's breathtaking scenery.

The programme includes departure on Saturday 26 April from Piombino in the direction of Portoferraio, arriving before lunchtime. The afternoon will be dedicated to discovering the island, between Portoferraio and Porto Azzurro, accompanied by Dr. Alessandra Delle Fave, a native of Elba, who will guide us through the beauty of these places. In the evening, we will all meet at the Sassi Turchini accessible structure, where we will settle in and have dinner together.

The day of Sunday, 27 April will be dedicated to the Joelette excursion, with a route of approximately 5-7 km (precise itinerary to come). Lunch will be packed, with a sea view, before returning to the mainland in the afternoon.

- We need volunteers! To make this experience accessible to as many people as possible, we are looking for boys and girls willing to lend a hand in transporting the Joelettes. The more of us there are, the more people with disabilities will be able to participate in this extraordinary adventure.

- Registration is open until 5 March. It is essential to confirm participation by this date.

- Expected costs: about 150€ per person, including travel by boat (with a car for 5 people), two lunches and half board in a dormitory. We are working on obtaining conventions, funding and sponsors to further reduce expenses.
