A weekend of great sports in Elba

The Marathon Tour 2023 kicks off on Saturday, May 6, with the Capoliveri Legend Cup powered by Scott.

The race in Capoliveri, already the scene of the 2021 Marathon World Championship, is held in an exceptional naturalistic setting. The Capoliveri Bike Park runs on Mount Calamita, a promontory that offers trails of the highest level, magical scenery, with the sea always in sight. In addition to its naturalistic context, Mount Calamita is also important to Capoliveri from a historical point of view, thanks to the Vallone and Ginevro mines that have played an important role in the history of the town and the entire island of Elba.

The next day, Sunday, May 7, professional and amateur runners of 17 different nationalities will battle it out among the idyllic vistas of the Costa del Sole and the unspoiled nature of Chiessi, at the western end of the island, for the seventh edition of the Elba Marathon.
