Internazionali d’Italia XCO Series, another great test for the island of Elba

Capoliveri, April 3 and 5, will be the stage for the MTB XCO Internationals of Italy.
A prestigious sports competition with the island of Elba as a coveted sports destination.

The Internazionali d'Italia Series are the first international event of the 2021 sports season set on the island.

In the competition, many champions from all corners of the globe will compete, battling it out among the challenging courses, surrounded by the greenery of Mount Calamita.

On this fiery weekend, there will be challenges between various categories, from the youth categories-Saturday, April 3, with the Rookies and Cadets-to the big event on Monday, April 5, with the Juniors, U23 and Elite races for the great athletes of the specialty.

Well-known names in the industry will be present, such as. Nino Schurter, Henrique Avancini, Vlad Dascalu, Luca Braidot and Kate Courtney : practically all the champions of the most competitive MTB sports teams who, for some time, have been preparing for this important competition. Some athletes were fortunate enough to experience the Capoliveri Bike Park trails in advance, thus being able to better study their moves and strategies.

It will certainly also be an important test for the island of Elba, which can thus be confirmed as a "paradise of sports in the midst of nature." More and more often, in fact, the island is chosen by sportsmen and women as a place for training and relaxation, thanks to its varied and beautiful scenery that allows its a hard workout, as well as a well-deserved rest.

Mines of Rio Marina
