Set up inside the old mechanical workshops of the Vallone Shipyard, the exhibition of original objects and furnishings provides an insight into the life of the miners and the history of the area. An authentic treasure chest of industrial archaeology in which it is possible to discover the ancient history of mining and the characteristics of the various iron and copper ores and their possible uses.

Mines of Rio Marina

Paolina Beach

Sanctuary of Monserrato

It was built as a sign of gratitude in 1606 by José Pons y León of the Dukes of Arcos, Spanish governor of Naples and first governor of the square of Longone (part of the state of principals). In September 1814 Napoleon, accompanied by Pons and Bertrand wanted to visit the sanctuary.
