The Pianosina History Museum was created thanks to the Association for the Defence of Pianosa Island and offers a rich collection of photographs, topographical maps, magazines, historical volumes and other printed titles.
Located in the former Post Office building, this is where the historical memory of the island is collected, which was used as a prison since the second half of the 19th century and has been uninhabited since 1998, when the prison was decommissioned.
