It is a White Wine with a color varying from straw yellow to pale straw, a delicate more or less fruity aroma and a dry and harmonious flavor. Procanico: a particular variety of Trebbiano Toscano, it is distinguished by pink berries, very rich in sugar but less productive than Trebbiano. It has always been present on Elba where it occupies more than 150 hectares and is the main component of Elba Bianco DOC . In recent years it is increasingly joined by Vermentino and Ansonica. Alcohol content 11%.

It was built as a sign of gratitude in 1606 by José Pons y León of the Dukes of Arcos, Spanish governor of Naples and first governor of the square of Longone (part of the state of principals). In September 1814 Napoleon, accompanied by Pons and Bertrand wanted to visit the sanctuary.
